Cancel linkedin premium

Learn how to cancel linkedin premium on a web browser, iPhone, or Android device, and find out what happens to your profile, connections, and unused InMail credits after your subscription ends.

Cancel LinkedIn Premium on Web or Mobile Browser

If you subscribed to LinkedIn Premium directly through the LinkedIn website, you must cancel your subscription using a web browser. The LinkedIn mobile app does not support cancellation for web-billed accounts.

Follow these steps to cancel your subscription through a desktop or mobile browser:

Sign in and open Premium features

Go to the LinkedIn website and sign in to your account. Click the Me profile icon at the top of your homepage, then select Premium features in the dropdown menu.

Open the Admin Center

Under the Plan Details pane on the left side of the screen, click Manage subscription to open the LinkedIn Admin Center.

View your purchases

Click Purchases in the left menu.

Choose your subscription

Select your active subscription from the displayed options.

Cancel and confirm

Select Cancel subscription and click Confirm cancel to complete the action.

Cancel LinkedIn Premium on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed to LinkedIn Premium on an iPhone or iPad, Apple manages your billing. Because LinkedIn cannot cancel or refund subscriptions managed by third-party app stores, you must cancel directly through your Apple ID settings.

Open device settings

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

Access your Apple ID

Tap your name or Apple ID profile picture at the top of the screen.

Open subscriptions

Tap Subscriptions to view all active services.

Select LinkedIn

Choose LinkedIn in your active subscriptions list.

Cancel the service

Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the remaining prompts to confirm.

Cancel LinkedIn Premium on Android

If you signed up for Premium through the LinkedIn Android app, Google handles your billing. You must process your cancellation directly through the Google Play Store.

Open the Play Store

Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.

Access your account menu

Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Select Payments & subscriptions in the menu, then tap Subscriptions.

Select LinkedIn

Tap LinkedIn in your list of active subscriptions.

Cancel and confirm

Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

What Happens to Your Account After You Cancel?

Canceling your subscription will not delete your professional network. Your profile, past posts, messages, and connections remain completely safe. Once your billing period ends, your account simply reverts to the standard free tier.

You can continue using all paid LinkedIn Premium features, such as expanded profile views and detailed insights, until the final day of your current billing cycle. This rule applies to both standard monthly plans and free trial periods.

All unused InMail credits are lost permanently when your billing cycle ends. They do not roll over to your free account, and LinkedIn will not reinstate them if you decide to resubscribe later. Be sure to use your remaining credits before your premium benefits expire.

LinkedIn does not typically issue refunds for partially used billing periods. To avoid automatic charges, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next scheduled renewal date or before your free trial ends.
